忘れたふりをしていたのに、ちゃんと冷蔵庫には牛乳があった。昨日の小さな“うそ”は、やさしいエイプリルフールだった。She pretended to forget,but the milk was already in the fridge.Yesterday’s little “lie”turned into a gentle April Fools’ moment.

春分の日を少し過ぎると、やわらかな空気が少しずつ増えていく。「暑さ寒さも彼岸まで」には、昔の人の観察が詰まっているのかもしれない。A little after the spring equinox,the air begins to soften.Maybe the saying “Even the Cold Ends at Higan”holds the quiet observations of people long ago.

卒業まで、あと少し。遠回りした帰り道も、きっと今だけ。Graduation is just around the corner.Even this little detour on the way homemay only happen now.

卒業旅行の朝。何か忘れている気がするのに、すみれは答えを教えてくれない。代わりに出てきたのは、猫の手だった。The morning of our graduation trip.I felt like I had forgotten something,but Sumire would not tell me what it was.Instead, she raised her cat paw.
